NUEVA COCINA SEEKS “SPICY” VALENTINE’S DAY TIPS

All Natural Latin Food Brand Offers Prizes to Those Who Share Their Secrets to Romance and Recipes for a 3-Course Aphrodisiac-Themed Meal

Nueva Cocina Foods (www.nuevacocina.com), the nation’s first line of all-natural, healthy and authentic Latin soups, seasonings and rice mixes, wants to put some spice into Valentine’s Day 2012. From now, until February 14, they are asking consumers to log on to xxxxx, and share their top tip to spice up a date on Valentine’s Day. Just for entering, consumers will receive a free packet of Nueva Cocina Chipotle Taco Seasoning, and one grand prize winner will receive a Nueva Cocina gift basket.

Nueva Cocina has also created a 3-course menu featuring some popular aphrodisiacs that tastes delicious, but is as easy as uno, dos, tres to cook!  So ditch the drugstore chocolates and the crowded restaurants by showing your Valentine that you’re in the mood for love by cooking this fabulous feast right at home.

Start with a creamy Nueva Oyster Corn Chowder that will wake up your taste buds with a combination of sweet, salty and spicy.  Then, chocolate is not just for dessert … you and your date can feed each other fondue featuring Chocolate and Chipotle  Mole Sauce  with Chicken or Beef.  Lastly, no “mushy” meal is complete without a chocolate dessert.  Nueva Cocina’s Spicy Chocolate Chipotle Bark “heats” things up a bit with a unique flavor profile of Chocolate and Chile. Now that’s hot! Click here for the recipes: xxxxxx.

More about Nueva Cocina
When Celeste De Armas and Corina Mascaro met at college they discovered several things they had in common.  Both women were born in Cuba, and both missed the delicious home cooked Latin meals they grew-up on. They also shared a concern about the “freshman 15” weight gain, so Celeste and Corina started paying more attention to what they were eating and changed their diets to include healthier fare.  Little did they know that more than twenty years later, they would launch Nueva Cocina Foods.  Nueva Cocina (www.nuevacocina.com) has an assortment of 17 different items featuring authentic recipes from Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain, among other Hispanic countries.  The brand is a favorite among people who don’t eat gluten (15 out of 170 products are gluten-free) and among favorite of vegetarians (14 of the 17 products are meatless).
