Picadillo Squash

This Picadillo Squash recipe is a healthy and delicious meal your whole family will love. Easy to prepare and a great source of vitamis and minerals.



Ingredients

1 package Nueva Cocina® Picadillo Seasoning mix 
1 lb. lean ground turkey (ground chicken, ground beef, Tofu or other meat substitute) 
1 eight-ounce can tomato sauce
3 fresh acorn squashes or other small variety squash 

Directions

Slice squash in half, cover with foil and bake in 325° degree oven until tender. (Time varies depending on type and size of squash).
 
Prepare ground turkey according to Nueva Cocina seasoning packet directions.  Remove from heat.
 
Scoop ground turkey or beef to fill the center of the squash.

Makes 6-8 servings
